What this tool actually does

It sends the same question to three large language models at once — OpenAI GPT-4o mini, Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Google Gemini 2.0 Flash — asking each to name the top ten brands in your category. It then merges the three lists into a single leaderboard using a Borda count, so a brand that lands #2 everywhere outranks a brand that lands #1 in one model and nowhere else.

Near-duplicate names are collapsed automatically. “Honest Amish”, “Honest Amish Classic” and “Honest Amish Beard Oil” are treated as one brand, and the shortest recognisable label is the one shown.

How to read the table

• Rank — the consensus position across every model that answered.
• Consensus — the share of models that mentioned the brand at all. 100% means every model named it.
• OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini — where that specific model placed the brand inside its own top ten. A dash means the model never mentioned it.
• Score — Borda points. A #1 mention is worth 10, a #10 mention is worth 1, and points are summed across models.

Why this matters

A growing share of buying research never touches a blue link. People ask an assistant “what is the best X” and act on the shortlist it gives them. If your brand is not inside that shortlist, you are invisible for that query no matter where you rank in classic search results. This tool shows you the shortlist as the models see it today.

Limits and caching

Every visitor gets three fresh category searches per 24 hours. Categories that have already been searched are served from cache instantly and do not count against your quota. Results are cached for seven days — model answers drift over time, which is exactly why re-checking monthly is worth doing.

Model answers are generated text, not a citation index. Treat the output as a directional read on brand visibility, not a scraped ranking.
